How The Firm Is Structured

Built With Purpose

When someone is dealing with an injury or property claim, the process is often unfamiliar. The other side handles claims as part of its everyday business and approaches them with an established process already in place. That can put the person bringing the claim at a disadvantage from the very beginning.

Margossian Law is structured to reduce that disadvantage without creating distance between you and the attorney handling your matter. The attorney remains responsible, accessible, and directly involved from the first consultation through resolution.

In practice

What Attorney Involvement Means Here

The Attorney Remains Responsible for the Matter
The attorney who evaluates your matter continues to handle it as it develops, with responsibility for its direction from the initial review through resolution.
You Know Where the Matter Stands
You are kept informed as the matter develops, with clear explanations of significant developments and what they mean for the path forward.
You Have Direct Access to the Attorney
When you have a question about your matter, you can address it directly with the attorney handling it. That access continues throughout the representation.
The Matter Is Developed With Purpose
Each matter is built carefully around the facts, documentation, and issues that shape how the claim is presented and pursued.

What to expect

How Your Matter Moves Forward

  1. Initial Review

We begin by understanding what happened, reviewing the information already available, identifying any immediate issues, and determining what the matter requires.

  2. Develop the Record

We gather and review the records, documents, and other evidence needed to establish the facts, support the claim, and understand the full scope of the loss.

  3. Understand Where Things Stand

As the matter develops, we keep you informed of significant developments, explain the decisions that need to be made, and discuss what comes next.

  4. Pursue Resolution

We move the matter forward through negotiation and litigation, with the strategy guided by the record developed throughout the case.

Fees

How the Fee Arrangement Works

A common assumption is that hiring an attorney means paying a substantial fee upfront. For matters handled on a contingency basis, the attorney fee works differently. Instead, the attorney fee is tied to the recovery obtained in the matter.

Attorney fees and case costs are separate. The written agreement explains the contingency percentage, how case costs are handled, and the other terms before representation begins. The initial consultation is free.

Before you sign, we will answer any questions you have and explain any part of the agreement that is unclear.

Not Sure Whether the Matter Calls for Legal Review?

An initial consultation is often enough to see whether we can help, what information needs to be looked at, and whether anything should be addressed sooner rather than later.
